OMG!! I was so looking forward to this product so as soon as it arrived I started using this and it met all my expectations and more.
About the brand:
Lula after being prescribed medicine for her eczema but she found they stung and didn’t work. Understandably, Natalie was desperate to find a product Lula could use. She wanted to make a moisturiser that didn’t contain anything unnecessary that may harm Lula’s skin.
Natalie started experimenting with cooking up traditional ointments and salves in her kitchen; she used combinations of herbs and oils such as hemp, calendula, nettle and olive use in skincare for centuries, which is now known as the skin salvation moisturising ointment.
Appearance and texture:
This is a thick balm texture and you may need a spatula to take some if you don’t want it under your nails but I love this especially for my knees, wrists, back and ankles. This is a balm like consistency but a little more buttery. This product has a green appearance to the product, and also looks very glossy and shiny on the skin but absorbs quickly. This is a smooth balm with tiny little granules inside which give a unique texture tot the product but also helps to absorb into the skin.
Applications and results:
This ointment when applied it at first harder to apply due to the balm texture but after you have got use to this it nice to rub to warm up between your fingers before applying. I applied directly to the skin focusing on my ankles, knees and anywhere else that I thought was try like my heels. After using this for a few weeks I found that my dry spots where almost healed up and recovered, which is amazing. I honestly loved using this product and have recommended to so many friends already. I noticed a dramatic difference in my dry cracked skin and this is now a go to and a holy grail for my dry chapped skin areas.
Reccomendation and rating:
I would recommend this product if you have dry flaky skin on any part of your body and need a quick easy to use product this is it. I would rate this product 10/10.
